You Are Chosen: Called, Equipped, and Right on Time

You are Chosen and Equipped
This morning, as I sat down with my Bible, I kept coming back to one verse. Maybe you've read it before, but sometimes God's Word hits differently when we need it most.
"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light."*
1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)
Now let’s just pause there for a second.
You are chosen. God chose you to be His son/daughter.
You are royalty. You are a daughter/son of the most High God.
You are holy. You are holy in Christ
You belong to God. You are His special possession.
And not only that you were *called out of darkness* and brought into His wonderful light so you could **shine** and **declare His goodness** in the world.
That’s not a small thing.
That’s not a maybe.
That’s your identity in Christ.
My friend you are not here by accident. You have been positioned for THIS hour and THIS season.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed today, if your to-do list is longer than the hours in your day, if your prayers feel unanswered, if the people you’re called to love and serve feel heavy on your heart, this is for YOU.
You are not behind.
You are not disqualified.
You are not forgotten.
You are right where you're meant to be.
God placed you exactly where you are on purpose for THIS moment in time.
You were created for such a time as this.
